As ugly as it is, the beard kinda fits Dirk. A rugged and battle tested man on one last journey.
for whatever reason I always feel like Dirk plays better when his hair is longer. Whenever he shaves his head I fear a shooting slump is coming.

I think it'll be the Jazz. They already have the leg up, and they're closer to the clubhouse. The way I see it these teams are fighting for 8th more because they're so flawed than anything else so the fewer chances they have to stub their toes the better.
I think it'll be hard for Dallas to win in LA tonight, and if that doesn't go down for Dallas they are pretty much toast.
I think Dallas would present the Spurs the most problems because Dirk.

According to MSB conspiracy theorist, it's already decided by David Stern.
The Lakers
The Lakers

I know I'm gonna get all the "OKC has owned Dallas this season and last year's playoffs" yada yada. But if you watched any of the games, Dallas gives OKC all they can handle every single time they play.

If the league wanted the Lakers in the playoffs, they would've done a better job of making sure it happened.

In order for the NBA to help a team win, the team actually has to be good before they take advantage of the help.

Dallas was about an arse hair away from going to Dallas up 2-0 last year and blew it. When Dirk is right, and it seems like he finally is the last few weeks, he is as unguardable as any player in the league.
Their playoff run comes down to OJ getting his head out of his arse for 2 weeks straight and playing good basketball. You know you'll get 5 good games out of the remaining 9, but its what happens with him in the other 4 that will tell the tale.

quote:Absolutely. Mayo was an overall good addition, but he's inconsistent. I think Dirk finally getting back into basketball shape has helped him, and the addition of James at point has improved overall offensive chemistry as well. The fact that Dallas is good enough to beat the Clippers tells me they have the talent to win enough games down the stretch to make the playoffs, but they don't control their own destiny. The Lakers and Utah will have to struggle with their tougher schedules on top of Dallas playing winning basketball, at least 6-3, down the stretch.
but its what happens with him in the other 4 that will tell the tale.

The Hornets have enough ridiculous calls in their favor to make a very similar video. I'm sure every team does.

I'm sure every team does.

I just hope that it's not the Lakers....but it probably will be.
The Suns get the Lakers draft pick if it is a lottery pick...otherwise, we get Miami's 1st pick...which I'm sure will be last pick.

Free Throw count in LA vs. Dallas:

Oh, another guy that didn't watch the game. The other team is going to have a ton more free throws when you intentionally foul their center the entire time
