I wish they would discontinue this practice. It hasn't worked out well for us most times

I agree he's not as bad as people make him out to be. I remember he had a pretty damn good 2010 and then people wanted him cut immediately after the Seattle game. Granted, it was a pretty horrible game for him but still.

And I know he was "covering" Davis on the TD vs San Fran, but honestly he had no business covering Davis. Most SS in the NFL can't cover Davis. Hell, if we're being honest, most SS in the NFL aren't necessarily known for the coverage ability anyway.

So when he doesn't have to cover?
Exactly. I don't expect Roman to cover the same way I didn't expect Reggie to rush for 100 yards a game up the middle. I'm aware of strengths and weaknesses and rely on the play caller to put him in the right position to be successful. When I see Harper manned up on Vernon Davis, I make brown in my pants.

When Harper is blitzing and the RB releases from the backfield, I do the same thing.

You must go through an insane amount of underdraws during football season.

bc believe it or not... he will earn his salary that we're gonna pay him this season in Ryan's system. (ok maybe not, but hopefully enough solid play to justify his contract now more than ever.)

then he will restructure next year to stay a Saint.

I feel bad for his mom having to push that neck out. She must have been in labor for hours.

He has done lots of good things, but all I can remember is the 49er playoff game when that tightend beat him numerous times and cost us the Super Bowl that year

Because our idiot GM overpaid him.

The real reason is because it would make no difference moneywise in cutting or keeping him

Now, why does he get on the field and cause us losses is another question

By pretty good 2010 you mean sacks which has nothing to do with RomanHarper and everything to do with the scheme, he got burnt just as much in 2010 as any other year
