Yeah
Tonight was the first game I've been to this year, and it was even worse in person how bad they are. They could do nothing to keep the fans in the game
Eric Gordon needs to go IMO. He'll never be a leader of a team

Well I got mine from 42 for free, so it was still worth it to make it for the game
Me and my buddy are going to try to get tickets to the Mavs game in a couple of weekends. Hopefully it'll turn out better

What players these days lack in "manliness" (an opinion), they make up for in athleticism (a fact). Lebron is the most athletic player the NBA has ever seen (Yes, more athletic than jordan). To think he wouldn't dominate in the early 90s is ludicrous.

Never said he wouldn't. I'm talking about people who don't give players of a past era their due.

Almost nobody is more athletic than LeBron, no doubt.
But claiming that anyone is definitely more athletic than MJ is ludicrous.

If a couple of light playoff fouls in a regular season road game in Chicago get to him, LeBron would have dropped his purse and started swinging after a trip down the lane against the Pistons, or bitched about Pat Riley's '$400 fine for any layups or dunks' teams.

Do people really think the hard hits we see now on replay were common and happening every night with the Pistons?

what an absolutely truthful thing to say
Perhaps Monte is referring to Mr. Gordon who cannot seem to find his Balls.

I don't even know what that quote means.

Pretty sure he was just calling out his own team.
Posted on 3/30/13 at 11:09 am to DEANintheYAY
He's not throwing his team under the bus, this wasn't a comparison of Lebron to the Hornets
Posted on 3/30/13 at 11:55 am to Hurricane Mike
It sounds to me like he's talking about how young players nowadays are entering the NBA. Yes I know Lebron was one of those, but he's a man now and he's playing against some really young guys.

they've been doing this since the mid-90s, though...when Jordan was still playing
Posted on 3/30/13 at 12:35 pm to SlowFlowPro
Well never mind then
Still, it seems like it's more prevalent today then it was back then. I'd be interested to see the average age of the NBA during Jordan's time vs the average age now.
