Agreed.
A Upper Mid-Tier build is fine with a 4C CPU. For those games needing 6+ physical cores, I guarantee the GPU is the bottleneck long before.

People at work started a Go-Fund me for us. I feel like shtt. Yes we lost everything in my apartment due to Harvey but it wasn't my house. I still have a lot more shtt.
How do you tell ppl no when they sort of force it on you?

Had to go way back to see wtf you were talking about
Let me know how you like it. I have the wireless G403 as my secondary mouse, but I'm looking at getting wireless for my main mouse. The G403 doesn't have enough buttons for my liking

I pushed away from Logitech for so long but recently bought one of the newer wireless gaming mice.
Holy hell. Best mouse i've ever used.

The 403 is amazing, but I really like the plethora of buttons on my 502.
If the 900 is any good, I'll prbably move to that and get the new logitech wireless mechanical keyboard to remove some cable clutter from my desk

Doubt I use the wireless feature, who knows. This bitch better let me program the buttons on the right side without making me switch to left handed mode.

Still using my Ducky Shrine. Love them, IDK if I will switch that just yet.

Eh, no point in paying for a 7600K when you can get more for the same price or a tad bit more once the 7700K drops in price from the 8700K.
But for me I'm all about getting the most for my money and a 7600K is at the bottom for that these days.
Tom'sHardware just updated their CPU list this week and no longer recommend the 7600K for gaming.
Times are a changing but I love it. Moar cores moar threads please.

I was glad people asked me first. I would be pissed if anyone begged for money on my behalf. I guess if it's already done just graciously accept it, hopefully it doesn't blow up into way more money than the target amount. At least with the Louisiana flood several of my coworkers were also affected, so all the attention wasn't focused on me.

I agree 100% that I would go with the 7700k, but when you're on a budget, I'd much rather put that extra $100 into a better video card and get better performance. Especially if you're going to higher resolutions, where the CPU bottleneck isn't nearly as bad

If you're on a budget you go Ryzen, and then put the rest into the GPU. 7600K just doesn't make sense anymore.
The new Intel price brackets with the 8700K being 7700K price, will drop the 7700K quite a bit to make it a not nearly as big a step up in price by the time he specifically buys next year.
8700K MSRP is $388 and the leaked pricing has them at $349-399 for an unlocked 6c/12t CPU. $299 or less for a 7700K, I'd imagine will be able to find them regularly for $279ish maybe even less...The 8600K 6c/6t is at $284 MSRP.
I love that we are finally at the point of more cores/threads in PC gaming, talked about it for so long and it's here. Ryzen helped rush Intel along a bit quicker than most anticipated. Mainstream 6+ core affordable processors with most of your major titles now optimizing to make use of the extra cores. Fun times.
