I watch that show. Cracked up when I saw that. Most non-tech TV shows have cringe-worthy references to technology -- as long as it sounds nerdy and the hardware looks technical. I imagine it's a similar experience for medical experts listening to poorly-researched casual dialogue between doctors.
Limitless is at least a little self-aware though. Anytime the main character Brian has to "hack" or learn some other technical skill, they show a montage or some random unrelated images to pass the time: LINK

Seriously, guys, I was trying to make a little joke. Sometimes, you nerds get a little defensive. I would recommend just embracing it - owning it.
The passage I quoted (by you ILike) was a perfect illustration. Now, the fact that you're smart, right and that would explain it to someone who had the question about exact space available doesn't change the fact we're so integrated into the hardware side of this - at times - that even folks who use computers a lot or play a lot of video games - start talking to them like that and their eyes glaze over.

More ammo. Only nerds talk like this, my brother.

There is one thing that the GB can be thankful for, we aren't the Poli board.

Based on other benchmarks of the game using your card, the frame rates seem about normal.
I'd play on Medium or High because the averages are closest to 60 and the fps probably isn't all over the map.

Oh I don't care or anything. In fact, I wondered if I fit the definition of a nerd only because I envision nerds to have very high IQs and encyclopedic knowledge in the sciences. What's the definition of a geek?

Geek is a subset of nerd. A tech based one, and I think we fit. I'm dweeb, in fact, which is kind of a "cool" nerd. Or so I "think."

Right now JP is playing Overwatch on 1080 SLI. 130-160 FPS avg.
I wouldn't think that game would be hard to push. Blizzard's engine still only uses 1 CPU core.
So its next Tuesday 1080s go for sale or pre-order? I'm excite but still not totally. I need to find the right monitor to pair with 1080s.

I wonder why people think full modular is better than semi-modular unless planning to individually sleeve the cables. Semi-modular means the CPU, 24-pin, and one or two PCIe cables are attached.
