How would you guys go about selling a tv? I am guessing I would have to locally since shipping fees would be outrageous. I may just have to sit on it until I have a place for it.

Craigslist or bookoo.com if there is a bookoo in your area
I know the bookoo.com here is more active than Craigslist because all of the soldiers at Ft Polk use it.

I'll look into that, it's probably not worth it though. Plasma tv's have gotten so cheap that I won't get much back at this point.

Donate it to Goodwill. They let you declare the value of it and you get a tax write off.

shite i need help (clarification really) with Newegg RMA.
My new 7950 is causing screen flicker in 2D applications like web browsing, but works great in 3D gaming. Its apparently a known issue with some of the cards judging by some reviews and forums.
I issued a refund RMA because I realized I originally ordered the Dual X and not the Vapor X model (so i can kill 2 birds with one stone) and was just going to order a Vapor X model. Problem is I have already claimed the never settle bundle of game codes.
Question: when I return the Dual X to newegg are they going to deduct the value of those game codes from my refund? If so, should i just change my RMA from refund to exchange and stick with a dual x model?

Probably not worth it for me. I am just trying to go from 42" to 50". My tv is just a little too small for my viewing distance.

damnit that requires sitting on hold

If you're upgrading size on your TV then jump up to 55" IMO. If you go 50" now you're going to want bigger sooner than later.

50" was an estimate, the minimum honestly.

Would you have to take apart the loop? I could still get the block off of my old loop without having to disconnect any of it

Depending on how "tight" your loop is, it can be a pain. I made sure there's enough slack in the tubing to remove the block and remount it evenly.
But yeah, I hate draining. I'm sure it's extra annoying for those who use coolant since that stuff isn't cheap. Distilled water is like a dollar a gallon though.
I was thinking about making a video, but I don't have a good way to set up the camera (no tripod at the moment) well enough, and I'd rather focus on getting the delid right.
I'll take some pics with my phone though.
