Can't wait to read this article. Even though LotHT was kinda past my prime kid-viewing game shows, I definitely still watched it a good bit. And I agree that there were few things in life better to a kid than late 80s/early 90s Nickelodeon gameshows.

I just watched all 24 minutes of that video, and while a lot of it was nostalgia, there is something to be said for those gameshows being legitimately entertaining.
I don't understand why Disney/Nick don't run these shows or other new gameshows like them anymore, they have got to cost next to nothing to produce, and they were wildly popular. Hell you're only paying 1 person as far as on screen talent goes.
Does Nick still have the GAS channel? That was almost entirely re-runs by the time it was around I think, but it was the greatest television channel I had as a child.
