I can't even watch that garbage. Kenny Smith can barely put basic words together.

Was it really that bad? Damn. I mean, it's not like he said "I'm here for my lynching."

I am glad they clowned him. The non- reaction from Greg Anthony was good.
But I didn't get why Gumbel and Kenny looked to their sides.

People joke like that all the time in real life, but we freak out when guys do that while covering a Game? How does that make any sense?

I tend to believe such sensitivity to lighthearted racial jokes is more divisive than allowing them to be acceptable. I mean, acknowledging obvious racial situations is killing the elephant in the room so that everyone can breathe.
I'm no fan of Gottlieb, but the way they treated him was pretty immature. JMO.

Yeah its a bullshite double standard. While it was funny and extremely awkward, those guys were assholes.

Greg Anthony has always seemed like a bit of an arrogant prick.

I hate Gotlieb, but that was good.

Or "I'm here for the black women"

He'd be more likely to say that than Barkley.

Kenny and Barkley make worse racial jokes all the time on their show. This is a non-story.

Mark May was mad on twitter about this. Wants Doug fired. Steven A can say whatever he wants and that's ok.
