you need to set up a large corral trap with corn and peanuts as bait.

Thats definitely hogs. They are straight because the row is straight and they are just rooting straight down the row eating one at a time.

It's definitely hogs. They did this last year. Tracks and rootings everywhere but when they get on top of those rows it's like GPS driven madness. I've found a big trail where they are coming up out of bayou bartholomew and coming to it. This particular farm is about 15 miles nw of Mer rouge. Or 10 or so miles east of log cabin. We are working on a plan for them so if I decide to make a big ambush I'll let you guys know.

I'm not an expert on hogs but that looks way to clean and straight to be hogs. From what I have seen on our place, they tear up and root everything in sight. I have never seen hogs do work that clean.

If it is hogs, then I am impressed. Maybe you can trap a few and send my way to get our ground ready for planting!

I don't think some people are giving these clever bastards enough credit. They are really smart animals

I'll come help shoot a few as well. They were all over our club last year and seemed to have moved off for a while.

Yeah if you pressure them they they will leave for a while but they are like Arnold, they will be back.

Just clarifiying. Hogs can do striaght lines, and I have seen it before but usually there are lots of other not straight rooting close to that.

If you found the main game trail put in a large corral trap. 10 ft off the trail inside the woodline. tie the door open and bait heavly for 3-4 days. Then rig the trap and get to killing.

If you need trap insturcions let me know.

Bonus tip: do not use sweet soda (rootbeer, cola, big red) as the sticky binding agent for your seed innnoculant.

Yeah that's pretty much what happened. We hunted and trapped them pretty hard and I think they just moved out of the area for a little while. I have no doubt they will be back
