What about Charvon Julien? '15 class 6'0" pg from Riverside.

I don't know if Coach jones will want to take another PG in 2015 as we'll already have Quartermann, Patterson, and Gray (who has played PG, but will likely be split at 1/2). I also think they have Chad Lott higher on their board than any other PG.
Depending how well he does in AAU this summer could really boost his stock (while also considering how much Quartermann and Patterson develop).

Any word on how Lott feels about LSU?

I think he's considered a lean to LSU. There hasn't been a ton of coverage on him, but he's mentioned LSU every time and how much the early offer meant to him. Coach Jones has also been to more than one of his events over the summer/into the school year.
By no means is there really a lock, but LSU is in a good spot. That said, I do think he will have to decide if he wants a spot. LSU is recruiting better and better, and he won't be able to hold out forever.

Guards are an issue for this current team. It'll be interesting to see where the staff goes at guard for the next couple years. There's a definite need for an off-guard IMO. Hickey, Quarterman, and Patterson won't be very good scoring threats, but Morgan, Hornsby, & Gray can do some damage. Hopefully, it'll be resolved with a commitment from Sampson or Frazier. I don't know much about our out of state options for shooting guard.

sooner or later we knew henderson was going to be a hero.
do wehave an offense that can penetrate and dish? or do we just pass it around till the other team falls asleep?

It was big and hurt when Jones put Quarterman in when Hickey and Stringer were hot. Quaterman missed all 3 fts and miss went on a 7=0 run. That included a couple turnovers by him during that time.

Really wish Hornsby and Gray could play this year

Figured I'd post this here. In terms of pay-sites, who do you recommend for LSU basketball recruiting coverage? Is it worth the price? It's difficult to find many articles about prospects of interest, etc. Right now most of my knowledge comes from local papers and this board. I'm just looking for a little more coverage.

Scout has the best basketball coverage. 247 has best football coverage.

That's about what I figured. It would be two different sites

For a 'raw' prospect, those point totals are pretty impressive.

Rumors have been swirling around about Thon Maker transferring to Dunham. Would probably help him eventually going to LSU.
I made some phone calls and well. Squash it. Won't happen.

According to what I've heard Big Jim is pulling some serious strings to get this to happen. But all rumors as of now, heating up though.
Big Jim has never, and will never pay for a player. It isn't his way and I'd put everything on it. They'll pay for the kids expenses when it comes to the team (which is 100% legal to do so) but they won't pay a kid/handler. Forget it. Wherever you heard this, make sure to let them know it isn't true as well.
There will always be talks but just know it doesn't happen here. Thon is a good kid but his handler/guardian/whatever wants $$$ and someone will give it to him. Unless he strikes out everywhere (yeah, not gonna happen) ... he won't be at Dunham.
