Cool show and I had a good time but nothing earth shattering. First band sucked arse.

Same. I saw them the first time as dredg slag, but they were solid. Tonight, though, damn good. Chino was on point. Peace, Chi.

Its the old man in me. I don't get this whiny singing stuff the kids are into these days. It was like they were trying to mix emo with Meshuggah.

I get what you mean, but read up. Misha Mansoor is more innovator than recreator. All 3 guitarists were damn good and a drummer has to be sick to keep those polyrhythms together. I'm not rushing to download, but they are masters of their craft

The opening band was pretty good, hasn't heard them before but they were pretty good live. Chino was definitely hitting everything he tried for.

I was the big, sweaty, hairy guy slamming into everybody in front of the sound board.

That guy was so obnoxious. Nothing screams douche louder than trying to be the only one moshing at a concert.

Were you wearing a red button-up shirt by any chance?

I was down in the crowd about 4 rows from the stage. Spent more time surviving and making sure I wouldn't get trampled than enjoying the music, but it's the experience I suppose.

It was all a blur but it was a good show. Good to say I've seen the Deftones. Definitely want to check them out again.
