and the new one, just seems tight. Responds well, just really touchy trying to pan left or right which makes it difficult to make slight adjustments in view. Anyone ever replace theirs and have any luck, and or is there a way to loosen it up a bit? Other than just use. Thanks.

I've never replaced a 360 analog stick, but I've done N64 controllers before. I remember it just taking time.

I figured as much. Just trying to see if there was a quicker way. Thanks.

Third party controllers have difficulty replicating the feel of the first party MS ones, but if you replaced it with the same part it will take a little time.

Seems like it would be easier/cheaper to just buy a new controller

I replaced almost all of mine with LEDs and such. Made them look
It's very easy, just removing some screws and popping them in

I spent $6 for 5 replacement analog sticks. Had the stuff to make the repairs (solder, solder remover, etc) So I saved myself about 50-60 bucks there.
As the guy brought up earlier, it is just going to take time. It's already feeling better after a few rounds. Not quite the way I need it, but much better than when I first used it.
Plus I've already fixed another remote. I'll take this as a win.
Eta. I want to get the blue LEDs for the Chrome Blue remote I just fixed. Didn't see where they remove. Easy to do??
