Best Crawfish in Houston?

I've been craving some crawfish out here, but I wanted to avoid making the error of going to a place that doesn't cook them the right way. I know I could look it up, but I figured I'd get the opinion of people with Louisiana ties that know the area. So, if anybody has any suggestion on a place to get boiled crawfish inside the loop, I'd appreciate it.

I like Bayou City for SW Houston or KC's (now Bones) in north Houston.

I hope you like Tony's sprinkled on your crawfish boiled in plan water.
look, Houston has grown on me, but give up on finding quality Louisiana food here.

Just had BB's and I didn't think it was all that great. Too much shite on the outside rather than on the inside. To get flavor, you have to peel the whole tail, wipe the shite on your fingers on to the meat, and then eat.
I haven't found a good place to get crawfish in Houston. They don't do crawfish the way I'm used to. No place seems to actually use a boil, instead boiling the crawfish then putting spices on the outside. Just doesn't work.

I get mine (boiled and live) at a small place where Cypress North Houston hits 290 - Cajun Connection. 281-758-0326.
He is originally from SW LA and does a pretty good job of cooking them.

I don't understand how Texas crawfish still has this stigma. Everyone says they season the outside and it taste terrible, the restaurants have to know this is a bad way of doing it, yet they still do it.
I don't understand how they still frick up crawfish out there, especially with the amount of Louisiana natives that live in the area.

You'll never be satisfied around here, but woodrows heights (formerly Mardi gras grill), crawfish connection, and this little place up in Humble are the best I've had. And by best, I mean they seem to season the water and put the least amount of "dust" when compared to others.
Avoid Baytown Seafood crawfish like the plague. I can't describe why or how bad these are. They come covered in a sauce that tastes like oranges or something.

Believe it or not, HEB does the best crawfish in town, and it's not even close. It's dang good; tastes just like home.
None of that "season on the outside" crap. Just great boiled crawfish with your corn, potatoes, etc...
Go get you a couple pounds and bring home. You won't be disappointed.

You people are not looking in the right places. Not exactly Houston, but...
Podzu's in Texas City (https://www.yelp.com/biz/pod-zus-crawfish-shed-texas-city)
&
Pooks crawfish hole in Santa Fe. LINK
And T-bone Toms in kemah usually has good sized bugs, but not spiced enough, IMO.
None of the above put seasoning on the outside.

Crawfish Connection in Humble is the best boiled I've found in Houston. Very little dust on the outside and inside has good flavor. Great boiled shrimp there too.
