We are playing lights out, and the leaders have emerged and we are playing great. Could we do some damage in the NIT? I think so.

How is this even answerable without knowing who is in the tournament?

I think we could win the NIT. Still work to be done. Right now I think we are looking 3 or 4 seed. with a win over Ole Miss and a decent tournament run we could be a 2 seed.

If this team makes the NIT and wins one I'd be proud because it's improvement over the way we finished last year. They could do more. Hell, I'm proud anyway.

How about we beat Ole Miss on Saturday first? That will get us a much higher seed in the NIT. Plus I still remember Ole Miss blowing us out in this game last year. Still feel frustrated that we collapsed the last two weeks of last season and get blown out by Ole Miss and blown out by Oregon in the NIT to end the season. Let's turn those two things around and beat Ole Miss here at home and win in the NIT!

It's all about the matchup with this team. We struggle against teams with a good post presence. We give up way to many offensive rebounds to beat a good team. Unless we make 8-10 threes we can't beat a good team. So here's hoping for a matchup with a perimeter oriented team we can out quick and outshoot.

Looking back, how far in the NCAA Tournament do you think the winner of the NIT would have gone?

Um, I think the chance for deep penetration is great
