Well here we are at the end of the season again. Boy do these games fly by!

I feel we really need to win the next two to have a successful season. Forget about brackets. That's like playing not to lose in a tournament you know you aren't going to win.

I knew realistically we were probably only going to win 2 out of the last five but that loss to Missouri hurt too much. If we can pull off the next two we will have a great season considering what players we had. That should get us in the NIT and hopefully we can get a run going there.

But in advance to all the unknowing who will say we should win both easily because A&M is nothing (even though it is a road game) and Ole Miss is never any good (even though they have been better than us in basketball for a while) and it's a home game. These two will be nail biters just like every other SEC game that we have had a chance in. Let's just hope there are no blowouts and we can at least be competitive.

I think our season has already been a success. LSU has vastly improved, fan appreciation has increased, and the future looks very bright. This was a rebuilding year. I obviously think winning games no matter what is best. If LSU loses Wednesday, I still 100% want a victory over OM even if it puts us in 8th.

I felt pretty good about the loss at Missouri. We flexed our muscles for a bit, but Missouri is just too damn strong at home. We don't have the bodies this year to compete with Missouri. I think we knew that. Preseason most everyone was saying we would go 0-2 to Missouri. We held our own out there.

100% agree. LSU will be the underdog in both games. Texas A&M is a solid club and beating them would be a very great accomplishment for LSU on the road. Ole Miss has struggled some lately, but they are a dangerous team who can be lights out for 40 minutes.
