High School Private School Tuition

Is there an kind of tax break for this with Fed or State or is it only for College Tuition?

There is some kind of credit for parochial schools ... not sure if it's for private schools too as our is Catholic and we give that info to the cpa ... actually, he asks for it. Uniforms, supplies, registration, tuition, etc.

I believe preK & K are treated as child care, but 1st-12th is only for state taxes.

In Louisiana there is a state tax break for private school tuition and fees, as well as cost of uniforms and supplies. Your CPA should give you a form to fill out.

In fact there are state tax savings for home schooling as well.
