Starter prob not

No. It's Adam Morrison part 2

I think he could find a spot on the bench for a team like the Grizzlies or Warriors (was teammates with Harrison Barnes in HS) but that would be his ceiling
Or go overseas and i think be a real player over there

Nope. He's a much better 3pt shooter than Morrison
At worst he's. Kyle Korver, Steve Novak, Jason kapono type.
He's more versatile than those guys though. He's more like Ryan Anderson

Ryan Anderson is a good comparison. I think he'd be a beast if he played in Europe too, fits that style of play really well

I don't see him as Anderson, at all. McDermott cannot play the 4 in the NBA.

at worst he's kyle korver? that's bold. korver is pretty damn good. if the worst he will be is kyle korver, then he will definitely be successful.

Ryan Anderson can't really play the 4 either.
He's a 3 stuck in a 4's body who has to be hidden there because of lack of athleticism

If he becomes a Kyle Korver clone then yes, that would be successful in the NBA.
btw, I'm wondering what "successful" means in this thread.

I think he could play in the league
maybe not a star but dude can play

That's not bold at all. Kyle Korver is a spot up shooter. Role player.
McDermott much better college player overall. At worst he'll be the same type of role player off the bench

He'll be a 20+ ppg scorer and make multiple all star game
Any one comparing him to Morrison is outing themselves as someone who has never watched him play. He's not a guy who runs off screens to get open looks but is too slow for it to work in the NBA, he's not a guy who makes a bunch of transition 3s. McDermott is a great 1 on 1 scorer who gets the majority of his point in the post and in the half court, the 3 point range is just a bonus.
