Nothing beats catching redbreast on ultra-light tackle for ol' weagle. Not only do they offer an excellent fight but they could also be the prettiest fish in this part of the country. I have observed smaller bedding redbreast chase away large garfish.

I love catching redfish. Nothing ive caught puts up more fight per pouf than a redfish that I've caught. Granted I haven't caught all the species of fish...

For me it is sac-a-laits and specs both eating and catching. Both with light action gear!

Garfish. I was chastised once for saying that but it's the truth. I love other fish, but if I were on death row and had to choose a fish for my last meal, it would be garball rice and gravy with fried gar parties on white bread with mayo and mustard.

I like how easy red snapper are. I could do that all day.

But wahoo and yellowfin have given me my best fights. Wahoo isn't necessarily a fighting fish but you've got to get em in quick. You can cut them frickers w a butter knife and sharks have no problem stealing half of it on the way in.

Excuse the baby gap shirt. Mine was soaked and I put one of my little BIL's shirts on
