Exactly. It's more enjoyable for guests who want to catch 100+ trout and people like my mom who thinks bream fishing is the best thing on earth.

I use live bait if I can catch it or conveniently get to the boat to buy some. I use artificial most of the year, but holy shite, it's crazy when you get on the live bite on the islands in the summer. I'm sure someone will come in here and call me out saying I'm "not a real fisherman" blah blah blah, but with gas prices how they are, I'll do whatever it takes to get fish in the boat without having to run around bay hopping all weekend.
