re: Te'o doesn't think the hoax will affect his draft stock

You never know. It actually may help. You have to think like an owner in this scenario, but I've noticed when people are really rich, they can buy everything, so they start fricking with people with their money. Kind of like "Trading Places". Think about it. The pranks that will be pulled on this guy in the locker room. If things go bad, just pull another prank on him and everybody is laughing. The dude is gold in that regard. An owner could just mandate his team draft this guy just so he can mess with his mind.

dude is going to be a good MLB in the NFL if he has no other "personal issues"
He looked bad against Bama but it didn't help that his Dline was absolutely manhandled and he was fighting off multiple Bama Olinemen.

If he's lucky, the hoax will distract from his overrated game.
But he won't be.
But he won't be.

None of which has anything to do with him missing 1-on-1 tackles. How many did he miss in that game? 5?

HE WAS RAN OVER by the bama running backs. RAN OVER.

Man, I''m beginning to think Minter made a deal with the devil. First the Te'o stuff, now Ogletree has a DUI? It's like every other MLB on the board is just throwing up red flags in the character column. If I'm a GM, I start looking at Minter as the potential #1 MLB. His production is just the same, or even better, without the off the field distractions.

maybe more than one game where his team wasn't completely overmatched?
so now linebackers don't have a bad game from time to time when the opposing Oline/running game is far superior to the front 7 as a whole?
Bama ran over Jarvis Jones and the UGA interior line as well but they are considered good pro prospects. I'm not saying Teo is going to be Ray Lewis but he'll be a solid MLB.

his only game against future nfl players he was treated like a baby back bitch. the kid is going to be a huge bust.

What else was he supposed to say

As I said earlier, Bama's team superiority over ND has nothing to do with Te'o's individual tackling opportunities, most of which he missed. If he can't tackle Eddie Lacy or TJ Yeldon 1-on-1, imagine what an NFL RB will do to him!

Every time I see something he said or hear him speak, it sounds like the words of a 5 year old. The above quote sounds like a confused child who got in trouble and doesn't understand why.
It's fricking weird.

I don't think it'll have much if any, outside of the Nat'l Championship he played pretty well, and the hype machine has been in full effect for years now. Hes a late 2nd round talent who will go late 1st round.

Meh. Guys miss tackles. And it's not like both Lacy and Yeldon aren't both going to be very high running back Draft picks. And you're thinking of it in a vacuum. It's not like it was a one on one tackling drill . Bamas dominant run game as a whole had a huge effect on his game. And like I said they did that to quite a few NFL prospects most notably all the guys in the uga front 7.

It's because he's cognitively deficient. He's just a flat out stupid person with athletic skills.
And before anyone says "aren't most college football players that way?" No, they aren't. Most are just lazy when it comes to class work because they don't see the point in it. They aren't naturally stupid though, like Teo is.

While that is true, one would think that the nation's best LB would make some plays in the NCG. And he just flat out didn't...and some of those weren't because he was blocked and Bama used a good scheme; he was just looked bad and was straight up missing tackles.

Will somebody please let me know what is the best part Manti's ability? He was totally oversold thanks to playing for Notre Dame and having 5 gift interceptions fall into his lap. I think he earned 2 of the 7 that he had. His tackle numbers were slightly above average for a middle linebacker. So again I ask, what's he's key selling point as a pro prospect?

It almost goes past stupidity for me though. It's almost like a childlike innocence/naivety that seems extremely weird and out of place for someone of his age and stature. It's like when I see interviews with him, I feel like I could actually sell him some magic beans or some shite.
