Gaming PC Build Under $700

Hey guys! I've been reading all the PC build threads the past few weeks and it gave me the bug to go out and build myself a new rig
Let me start off by saying I'm not a huge PC gamer, but with Path of Exile going open beta a few weeks ago I've spent my gaming time on the computer
The current computer I'm using is roughly 6 years old, so needless to say it needed upgrading. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money as I'm a poor bastard, so I wanted to build a decent rig under $700 bucks. Had to sacrifice some stuff and go AMD instead of intel, but I got a pretty nice build for cheap. Let me know what you guys think
Video Card: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7850 100355-1GOCL Video Card OC Version
Power Supply: CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650W Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" SATA 6.0Gb/s Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
Case: COOLER MASTER HAF 912 RC-912-KKN1 Black Computer Case
CPU: AMD FX-4100 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ Quad-Core Desktop Processor
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 ATX AMD Motherboard
Memory: Patriot Viper 3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory
Total Price: $677.93
I saved a bit of money not having to buy windows 7 or a dvd drive (using my old one). But I can play pretty much any game out there on high - ultra settings and didn't break the bank.
Edit: Bought everything off of newegg. If you anyone wants to see the price of each item let me know and I can throw it in here.

Might be a fair price but you might have been able to find a modular one of higher wattage for a similar price. Otherwise looks like a fine build

Thank you. Had I done some more research I probably could have squeezed a bit more out of some areas and kept it under $700. But considering the deals I found, I'm happy.

I snagged a TX750m at micro center for 99.

Looks like a nice setup.
I'm an Intel guy. I think the majority view is that right now Intel has a good margin on AMD. I'd go down that path personally. Secondly, if there is anyway possible way you can fit a SSD into your budget I highly recommend that you do.

Everything I read says intel has the edge especially with an amd gpu. Nvidia however relies on the processor less. I'm on my phone now but the article on toms I read said if u go amd CPU then go nvidua gpu. I know there was a thread on this a couple of weeks back.

Oh intel would definately be the way to go for the higher end setup. But considering I was wanting the most power I could get for the least amount of money, I decided to go with AMD.
And I definately plan on getting a SSD soon. Probably next paycheck. I won't get a real large one, just one big enough to hold my OS and a few of the games I play the most.

$99
Thats pretty high for that PSU. Seasonics went on sale pretty often for 79, 89, and 99 (650w, 750w, 850w) and are fully modular with gold efficiency
Best sub 700w on the market, for only $89.99 after $30 promo code

Those are interesting results. Think the higher speed processor is all the gpu needed to get those numbers. That kind of goes with what I was saying about nvidia if that's right.
