can this offense, with the personnel Cam has to work with, be a top 25 offense with the schedule we are up against?

It very well could be LSU's GOAT.

If only Chris Faulk would have stayed I would say definitely

It's gonna be the same offense, where has all that talent got us the last 5 years?

It all depends on Mett.

Screen passes, screen passes everywhere.

I'm excited to see Blue and Hill catching passes

Mett completely outplayed him in every part of that game this year. He played like shite against the only 2 good SEC teams on their schedule while having a much superior supporting cast

it could be great.. but you have to remember that they will be playing the best of the best (besides themselves) defensively. so schools in shitty conference could put up better stats PPG shite like that

but the talent is nasty

I hope Faulk doesn't end up regretting his decision. But I think he may.

If Cameron can get Mett to play like he did in November, we could see greatness. We can't have Mett as a game manager this season

He can get them out of predictable formations, most importantly.

I would be content with a Top 40 offense, but how good can it be...I think pretty good.

Mett is entering his 2 yr as the starter, Hill his 2nd yr, the R unit should be better, and gosh I don't think there is any way possible to have more OL problems than we had last yr.

Going into Ark, the total O ranked bout 68 and I know that's not great or anything, but a hell of a lot better than the triple figures or close to we had been having.

The last 2 games were disappointing, but there was maybe a light at the end of the tunnel glowing dimly.

Hopefully, that dim light grows bright this yr.

If LSU's "O" can get to top 50 this team would pretty much be unbeatable.

You won't learn anything from the Spring game and will be asking this question again in the fall.

no. esp since one of the main reasons an offense gets "top" billing is yards gained. imo, points scored, time of possession and red zone scoring are the only 3 offensive stats that matter. no one should give a rats arse about yards gained; yet most people seem to only care about that stat. some lsu fans will not be satisfied until we go all in on the flag football "spread" concept. 90% of them have no clue what the spread is and most can't tell the difference between the read option and the spread.

Hell, I would settle for top 50.
