Tried the New Romano Italian Street Food on Vets near Clearview

Was very good for what it aspires to be. It's exactly like Chipotle except with Italian ingredients instead of Mexican. The layout and seating is similar to Chipotle, too. They're having their Grand Opening now.
First you choose whether you want a "Piadina" (wrap), pasta bowl, or salad. Then your protein: steak, Italian sausage, chicken, "Salumi" (Italian cold cuts), vegetarian or shrimp.
Your toppings are next: olives, artichokes, cheeses, greens, cannelini beans, onions, mushrooms, etc. There are 6 sauces, 3 warm and 3 cold.
I got a wrap and drink for less than $10. I think they may have a bad location though because their entrance is often blocked by traffic waiting to turn. Best bet is to enter from Quincy St in the back.

Man you got to be careful with the garlic there they really pile it on. My food didn't look as good as those pictures, but it wasn't too bad. The owner "chef" talk my head off about be local.

Is the piadina (the bread part of the wrap) freshly made? Or is it just another industrial prefab bread like thing?

I doubt it was house made. There was no sign of the tools to make them in the front.

I've been once. I got pasta with shrimp and marina sauce. I liked it. I think it cost me like $6-7, and it was a pretty good portion.
