empire strikes back as a kid.
summer of my senior year of high school is when it all changed. rented trainspotting, magnolia, fight club, kids, winter light, and breathless. all really changed my perspective on film.

I think it was Jurassic Park. I was raised on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. That was amazing. Stargate was amazing to me too.
Donnie Darko made me start seeing them in a different light though.

Raiders of the Lost Ark
If there was any moment I wish I could experience for the first time again, it would be sitting in a theater watching Raiders, not knowing anything about the movies and/or Indiana Jones - with a popcorn and a coke.
As a kid I just sat there in complete awe. From the beginning to the end.

Cliche im sure but its Godfather for me.
I forget which year I was in high school, maybe a sophmore. My brother left it over at the house for some reason, I watched it when I got home from school one day and it blew me away. All I could think about the next day at school was getting home and watching pt. 2. Before that I thought Joy Ride and Fast and the Furious were where its at. Godfathers changed my perspective on film pretty good.

Avatar in 3D was pretty awesome as well if you ignore the global warming/planet killing BS in it.

Twilight was the movie that really showed me the true magic of cinema. From the opening credits as the camera pans through the majestic pacific northwest with the perfect mellow mood setting song, to the perfection of the now iconic vampire baseball scene. That film was pure magic

You weren't around for my twilight vacation thread were you? I took a pilgrimage to the town of forks several years ago, which was chronicled on the OT
