The Elvis: A banana + PB filled king cake topped with toasted marshmallow + candied bacon.

Pretty much my thoughts too.

I'm headed to New Orleans on Friday and eating at Cochon that night. I plan on stopping into The Butcher to grab a piece but wanted to know if anybody had tried it yet.

It's delicious. I'm not a sweet person or a king cake person, but this is a great combination. The banana PB mixture is wonderful.

Over the top, but in a good way. A few times a year I'll make my version of an Elvis. Peanut butter, bacon, bananas and honey cooked like a grilled cheese. Decadent, but so damn good.

It is completely over the top and fantastic at the same time.

Do yourself a favor and order it the day before, they usually sell out.
