Wife and I used to have two atv's about 6 years ago and would take them to spillway to play around on weekends. Well she came to me this morning and said she wanted to start doing more fun things with me on weekends besides going fishing. Said it would be fun if we could either get a utv or a pair four wheelers and go riding again. Just rolled my eyes cause I was the one who always had to wash them and take care of them. Shame of it is she was serious. So question is is the spillway only place in south LA to ride them and what about Mississippi?

There is a place in Greensburg called Tower Trax, I believe. A buddy of mine rides there.

Nice, it's in the middle of nowhere. It wasn't there when I was in high school but there was just old timber roads all over that we rode on. Had some questionable and fun experiences around there.

Thanks I did figure that out. Just wasn't sure if any newer places had opened up or not.

There is a place in Perkinston MS that was just discussed a few days ago but can't remember the name of it.

I like riding atv's when it's of doing of some other type of occasion but not singularly just to go out riding especially in 100 deg summer heat

That's the original Red Creek Off Road. They partnered with the folks at the new NOLA Motorsports Raceway to create Red Creek NOLA.

Not something we do all the time. Just something to get away and spend the day together playing around. I don't go fishing or play golf when its 100 deg either. Out in it enough during week so sit my arse inside on weekends during heat of summer.

Last time I went to Red Creek, it wasn't even any fun. The holes on all of the trails are all 4ft deep at a minimum and you just can't ride most of them. I fell in one hole and the water in it came up to my chin. The spillway looks pretty cool. I have driven all up and down in there in my truck and they have a couple of miles of places to ride

NOLA Motorsports is something that I have been wanting to do for a while now. When I spoke to the guy that runs it a while ago, he said they rent out cars for people to drive on the track. One was a GTR, and IIRC, the other was a Mustang Cobra
