Pulled my Wife's credit report today...CC's for me are showing up on her account

I'm the signatory on the accounts, and ordered cards in her name with the account but they are showing up as her debts?
Anyone else had this issue?

She is an authorized user which shows on her credit

She's a user, not the guarantor though.

I'd expect she is an obligor under the terms of the credit agreement.

I've never provided her SSN to the Creditor.

I am just telling you how it works.

That is exactly how it works. I put my son on my credit card when he took a trip out of the country. Fast forward 5 years later. He tries to buy a house, but the credit limit on MY card put over the debt ratio. Bizarre. I had it removed and he got the loan. I was not told this would occur before I put him on my card....Live and learn.

My wife has great credit from being a cardholder on her dad's Amex account

It's called "Piggy Backing" in the credit building/rebuilding world.

Some CC will allow authorized users to have card activity reflect on their record.
Even though it isn't "their" debt.
It's meant to help, not hurt.
And unless I'm mistaken if you remove them as an authorized user the report disappears too.

Sure do, all our credit cards show on both our reports even though be both had them before we got married.
