Jerry Rice played about 3 or 4 years too many IMO

He compiled stats by staying in the league too long

Take away his last three years and he is still easily the greatest WR of all time production wise.

if he stayed in the league too long, as you claim, he wouldn't have compiled notable stats in his last few years.

Randy Moss retired. Why would he come back if not to compile stats?

eta: you must be too young to remember prime Rice, whom by the way is considered by many to be THE BEST FOOTBALL PLAYER OF ALL TIME NFL Network says so

Rice put up 869 yards in his second-to-last season with Rick Mirer as his starting QB.

Doesn't matter...Rice could have retired 3 or 4 years earlier, and there would still be no better. Always a threat to score, and being a receiver, that was pretty incredible...

Moss had more talent, but that means nothing- Rice showed the ability every play, every game & every season...Moss was always hit or miss...
