who do I need to make sure I see?

Links on the ones I really like.
Crystal Method
Delta Rae examples: Fire (live), Bottom of the River (LIVE)
Eric Burdon if feeling nostalgic (not sure how he sounds these days)
Ghost Beach if you're in a modern pop mood
Shiny Toy Guns (Carah Faye is back with the band!) You Are the One (live), Photograph (live in BR)
Skyler Gray (up and comer) - Coming Home (live), She wrote this one for Rihanna and actually does it better (she's the chick in the background in the dark singing starting at 3:55)
St Lucia electro-pop September (Live)
Los Lonely Boys
Lucy Love (just curious how this freakshow does live)
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds if yer feeling dark
Paloma Faith - GREAT voice and Artsy-weird New York, Never Tear Us Apart (INXS Cover) - Chick is HUGE overseas
Probably tons more but I don't listen to much Indie music.
ETA:
The more I think about it - The more I'd say put Shiny Toy Guns and Delta Rae at the top of your "must" list IMO.

I went on a Honey Island Swamp tour with him and the chicks from L7. Talk about a weird day.

Here's the non-Rihanna version of Love the Way You Lie.
I think record execs didn't want to push a non-black artist on the Grammys so they hid her in the background.
Here's a Live medly... Seriously underrated artist right now.
ETA:
Bruno Mars & Skylar Grey - It will Rain - Live Frankfurt 2011
Plus she looks like she'd be fun at a party.

These guys:
Dirty River Boys- Road Song
Dirty River Boys- In These Times
Dirty River Boys- Dried Up
Dirty River Boys- Raise Some Hell
Dirty River Boys- So Long Elaine
Dirty River Boys- Science of Flight
One of the best live shows you'll find. They all sing and all play multiple instruments, and the crowd gets really into it, singing and dancing. SO much energy. They're great. And they're my friends <3

Wow. I need to go over the list of bands more carefully. Had no idea Frightened Rabbit was playing. And I love Surfer Blood, but have never seen 'em. Lot of good bands there.

Do you have any idea if The Damn Quails are going to be there?
Posted on 1/28/13 at 9:01 pm to MrCoachKlein
Haven't heard anything about them being there.
American Aquarium is playing 2 days, though...that's another show the OP should catch.
