Speaking of skin, could I have a piece of that chicken skin? Looks terrific!
I cooked some fish in a skillet. Unidentified fish, caught by my brother in law and given to me at Thanksgiving. I put it in the freezer but forgot what kind of fish it is.
I have 3 or 4 more bags of it. Whatever it is, it's good. (white, flaky fillets)

Caple I love the potato skin on... I like the taste/texture of it and I believe the skin has a lot of nutrients

Me too and the fresh herbs and raw shallot and scallion add a nice freshness.

And, lo, those in the Valley of Death, shall cast stones upon thee, thy breatheren from the Almighty G. They shall cast ridicule upon thee whoeth seasons thy deer with a sweetener such as brown sugar.
Thy breatheren of the Almighty G shall simte the flowing lustfulness that burst forth from those in the Valley of Death over thine steaks.
So there.

Alma, I'm not sure of the joke, but the venison looks good!
Caplewood, scallions and parmesan? Your own creation? It also looks like it would be most excellent!

Yea just had leftover scallion tops and a knob of parm in the fridge. I make scallion cornbread alot though from having the leftover tops. Buttermilk cornbread doesn't need much help but the onion is nice
