Help With Roth IRA

Can someone give me suggestions on which website to open one on? I'm 26 and this will be my first time investing. Should I just start with a Target Date Fund and go from there? I have an account on Fidelity but haven't deposited yet. Anyone got any experience here? If negative, can I close it?

I went with Vanguard and invested in 5 ETFs covering US and international markets. No reason to make it complicated.

Honestly, any of the big names will be fine and a target fund is usually not a bad way to go. Personally I use Schwab and have always been happy with them but Fidelity is probably good too.
For most people just picking a target fund with a big firm isn't a bad way to go IMO. The biggest problem most people have will be thinking they can do better than that in their spare time when they are retired and bored.

1) Has an expense ratio of 1%, which is pretty high.
2) Is also basically a pure 100% stock fund. That may or may not be appropriate for everyone.
3) Returns are highly correlated with the S&P, you might as well just buy an index fund and get similar performance for lower cost.

I really like Vanguard's target date funds.
It isn't my sole holding in my retirement account as I don't want all of my investments to become bonds in retirement but the overall plan is really nice.

I just opened with Vanguard after the recommendation of a number of posters and reading the reviews... I couldn't find one negative review about them
Was quick and easy

I went with Scottrade and am very pleased. However, if you are planning to go with a Target Fund I'd open the Roth with whatever fund company you're investing in. Vanguard would be a good decision.
