An assistant coach for the LSU women’s basketball team was arrested Jan. 12 and accused of drunkenly yelling at a police officer at a Third Street bar in downtown Baton Rouge, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Anthony “Tony” Perotti, 6810 Jefferson Highway, was booked into Parish Prison on one count each of entering or remaining after being forbidden and disturbing the peace by intoxication.
A security guard at City Bar, 333 Third St., flagged down a police officer at 2:15 a.m. after Perotti began cursing at him, the affidavit says. The officer spoke with Perotti, who appeared to be “intoxicated and belligerent,” the affidavit says.
Perotti argued with the officer as the officer told him to leave the bar, the affidavit says.
The officer finally arrested Perotti after repeatedly telling him to leave, the affidavit says.

Aw c'mon Speedy....why did you arrest the women's assistant coach? Couldn't you have given him a pass this one time??
Actually, it does sound like the officer gave him every chance to get out of the situation without having to be cuffed.
I wonder how it took 11 days for this to hit the press?
And isn't 37 a little old for the City Bar?
So many questions...

He shouldn't have been arrested. They should've just told him there was a ravioli outside, and he likely would've complied and exited the establishment...in search of the ravioli, of course.
Hey, it's a Jersey thing, you know? Heeeeeyyyy!

There is no way an LSU coach of any kind should make news like this. Coach should have walked away and shut the hell up. But for the sake of argument, what are the odds that the City Bar doormen were being dickheads? I am going to set the over/under at 99.5%

I'm kinda stunned that TNTNT hasn't made it to this thread yet to declare this as a sign of Nikki Caldwell and Joe Alleva leading us to the fall of Western civilization.
