I do wish New Orleans had a decent alternative festival. It seems like Voodoo is becoming more and more like Jazz Fest 2.0 every year. Jazz Fest has always been a little middle-agey in my opinion, so I expect these types of lineups (not a knock).

I feel to old for Voodoo fest at times so I wouldn't say Jazz Fest 2.0.

If anything, I feel Jazz Fest tries to hard to get the modern act which I think goes against its roots... but I get it, its all about revenue..
