Pens put up back to back goals to make it 3-0 midway through the 3rd.
Pens have pretty much dominated the Rangers from the get go, playing so well right now on both ends of the ice.

Perry serving his BS 4 game suspension. Doesn't matter. Ducks up 1-0 after a period with the Blues.

Stars down 3-0 to the Hawks after 1...only 3 shots on goal for DAL..im really hating the Ryder-Cole decision

Blue Jackets win in a shootout, and continue their points streak.

Ducks and Blues tied at 1 each at the end of 2. Koivu has the goal for the Ducks. Russel scored his first of the year for the Blues.

Make that 6-0 after 2 Mercy rule anyone?

Blues beat the Ducks in OT. I'm pretty pissed about this one. Blues in no way should have won that game. Ducks dominated every damn period. Just couldn't get the puck to go in the damn net. Then they make one turnover in OT and it's over. frick the Blues. Luckers.

i hear ya.
man, the goonins are only 1 point behind us. gonna be tough holding them off. could be a photo finish at the end. it is crazy.

Considering the Ducks lucked into two points against the Stars, I don't think Duck fans should be complaining about unearned points this week.

I have hope that despite the last 4 games my Loafs still make the playoffs...

Ultimate Hog to me on 3/8:
Ducks to NHL on 3/18:
LINK
Perry signs for the same deal as Getzlaf. Shockingly, the Ducks like winning and want to keep their best players in town instead of shipping them to Pittsburgh for a bag of magic beans.

Perry does not want so resign with Anaheim, this is well known to everyone but apparently you.

The Ducks have agreed to terms with right wing Corey Perry on an eight-year contract extension.

What? I said if he hits the free agent market Anaheim has zero chance and that he wouldn't want to resign there.
Obviously money talks and he didn't hit the free agent market where he would have had a sky high asking price.
Malkin practiced again today, may return tomorrow vs Washington.
Letang should be good to go as well.

Patrick Kane with the 2nd game in a row with 3 points.
From a Hawk fan, it will be sad to see Pavel Datsyuk go.

Malkin is listed as out, Letang is doubtful. Cooke is a game time decision, apparently. Pens are rightfully treating the Caps as a breather and a chance to get players healthy. Send out the B-team and you still have a good shot at victory. I think the Pens will rest all three because why not?
Brooks Laich will play his first game of the season tonight, on the fourth line. Dmirti Orlov also was called up, so he might make his first appearance of the season as well. Two big pieces for the Caps that they need to be healthy.
Start of a stretch of 7 of 8 games on the road. Caps aren't dead yet, but they well could be by month's end. This is the critical stretch for them. By my math, they've been 10-7-0 since their awful 2-8-1 start. If they can go 10-7-0 over their next 17, they will be at 50 points with three games left. It looks like 54 points will be the playoff line, so if the Caps just keep playing like this, they should be right on the line come the final days. But this road trip is critical.
