From wikipedia
quote:

In 1998, he was the #2 quarterback behind senior Herb Tyler. When Tyler suffered an injury late in the game at Notre Dame, Nall came off of the bench to lead LSU the length of the field in a furious comeback attempt. The comeback came up short as an LSU receiver dropped the potential game winning pass in the end zone on fourth down as time was winding down. Nall then started the next week in the last game of the season at #13 Arkansas. Nall was sacked six times and threw for 147 yards and was intercepted once.

It still amazes every time I watch the Cowboys play that Danny McCray starts for an NFL team. The fact that he is captain too is incredible.

Was it Kenny Davidson?

Kenny Davidson could never start over Karl Dunbar and Karl(?) Wilson, but he was drafted before both and had a decent NFL career with the Steelers. Funny how that worked out.

Donnie Jones was a pivotal part of the 03 NC, and in fact wrote a book about the subject: LINK

Nixon was from Pineville. He started at LSU for a couple years. Think he's thinking of Kenny Davidson from Huntington, bounced around between TE and DL and played a few years.

Danny still playing in the league goes to show us that Les wasn't crazy keeping him in our starting lineup.

My player is Jacob Cutrera.

Dude was pretty much on the shelf his whole career here due to nagging injuries and he made the opening day roster of the Jags after being an UDFA.

Now playing for the Bucs.
