Finally had the chest to watch the replay of this game. Thoughts:

1. Alabama defense was completely emasculated in this game in a manner that equals the Cam Newton 2010 second half. Only it was a full four quarters of the worst Bama defense in the Saban era.

2. The real cardinal error Miles made in the game was not trusting and staying with what was working. Mett was white hot in this game but in critical 3rd and 4th down situations in the fourth, Miles did not trust what was working and went conservative. The short to intermediate passing game of Mett to Landry or Boone was never stopped. The "Mad Hatter" failed to push the advantage.

3. AJ was terrible in this game. Believe injury and LSU secondary caused his worst performance of the season. Kudos goes to him for hanging in there and pulling out this game.

4. Offensive coaching won Bama this game and was the difference. LSU offense coaching was best of the season for three quarters and just cost LSU this game in the end. It was both there best and worst performance all year.

#1 faking it when we should have kicked and kicking it when we should have faked on the next series was a killer.

#2 the Warecat when everyone in the stadium knew what was coming, just line up and run your regular offense.

#3 Just go for it on 4th down at the end of the game rather than try another field goal. Even if you get it a TD still beats you.

Proud as hell of how our boys played. Tip your cap to bama for a great last minute drive to win, thats what championship teams do.

How Bama struggled against a team that nearly lost to Auburn is something I'll never figure out.

So our defense was emasculated and our QB was horrible and we still won? Imagine the score next year if we actually play a decent game.

Play calling for Bama sucked. Should've kept running the ball and kept the Defense off the field.

I wish LSU would get over their loss to Bama. Alabama beat 12 other teams this season and those teams took their beatings like men. Even Auburn and Tennessee. Man up LSU. Alabama defeated your guys in their house because this year LSU didn't have what it takes to win in the 4th Qt.

Struggling against a team that nearly lost to Auburn and did lose to Clemson blows my mind.

I do however believe LSU won't be the riddle they've been in recent years next season. Alabama cruises to an easy 21-0 victory on a last minute screen pass in BDS next November.

your 'analysis' pretty much shows you know nothing about football and that the push for revisionist history has already started. Bama's defense was not the problem in that game, and alabama's offensive coaching was inexplicable for most of the 2nd half. The bama D was on the field for 40 minutes of a 60 minute game, yet gave up only 17 points. LSU only had to defend for 20 minutes and gave up 21 points. LSU did not dominate the entire game like people are trying to say. Alabama led in both points and yards at the half. The issue started in the 2nd half when Nuss got tunnel vision and could not see that the LSU D was keyed in on the pass. We had 4 straight 3 and outs to start the 2nd half, all do to incompletions. Meanwhile we had 2 runningbacks who were averaging 7 yards per carry, yet only had 22 carries total between them for the whole game. We were not even trying to run it, kept going back to what was not working. If bama runs it in the 2nd half LSU is not even in the game. Sounds like you should try rewatching the game, but this time take your head out off your arse first.
