How is this possible...
Its around 40 degrees and very little wind. I don't have gloves on, but my hands are fine, face is fine, ears and nose are fine, but my feet feel like they're sitting in a bucket of ice!!!
I have on decent wool socks and muck boots, and I'd like to hear some theories.
Oh, and no deer so far.

You probably need bigger boots.
Or you had to shite and wiped your arse with your socks and are now sitting in your stand barefooted because you don't want your boots to stink.

You probably sweated without knowing it and that wool got damp. Happens when I have a stout hike in the woods to get to my stand. Either thAt or you left your boots outside and insulation is trapping coldness in. Or lastly, you have holes in them, which is unlikely to occur on both boots. There you go, my .02

Boots too tight
Most likely cause there needs to be a little space for the air inside the boots to warm from you body...

Think this may be it, these socks are much thicker than regular cotton like I usually wear. Going to try cotton again tonight and will see how it goes.
Definitely no holes but sweat is a possibility although I didn't have a long hike.
Gracias, carry on!

Most likely your feet sweat while walking to your stand. If you have a long walk carry extra socks and change them when you get to your stand. Also never a good idea to wear your boots in your truck when driving to your lease, your feet will sweat and you won't notice it until too late. I also have a few pair of boots i wear depending on how cold it's gonna be when i go. I know how you feel, it sucks, but i took this advise from someone about 20 yrs ago and have never had a problem since.

sweaty feets?
size larger boots, air to move, too tight can slow blood movement and make numb.. need to be able to easily wiggle toes.
wear wicking sock next to feet to catch sweat, never skin directly to wool.
bring all boots in to camp at night and roll down.
i bet most or all of this has already been said, huh?

Do you have a gore-tex layer or a waterproof membrane like that? also, do you have wool socks on that make your feet feel like a "snug fit?"

I've got medium weight under armor socks and mucks on right now and have had no problems this AM.
They're loose around my foot but tight around my calves and almost seal in the heat.

Probably sweat. Spray antiperspirant on your feet before you put on your socks.
