Based off the youtubes, there are just so many games on PC that look amazing. Not just graphically, but just fun as hell to play with friends. Honestly, the only thing tying me to xbox is friends. Well, that and I'm OT poor with a fixed single income family
Another concern is going to keyboard and mouse. Stout, how much of a pain is it to switch from controller honestly? How long did it take you to get familiar? I would think most games would start giving a controller option, but I could see where some games have so many options a controller would just be a pain.

Very true. DayZ does not even come close to having the best graphics but it is just fun. Same with Minecraft, Garry's Mod, and a ton of other games.
The open platform of development and distribution for indie gamers and mod creators make it the perfect storm of cheap and fun content. I have more fun on games that aren't Triple-A titles than anything. They are also games you can't get on console and if you could they would be severely limited by the consoles hardware.

More games have console options than you think and it's not as hard as you would think. I should play with KBM more just to get used to it but I am lazy and just want to play games so I use my controller when a game allows for it.
I did have to get a backlit keyboard because I play in the dark and I would sometimes catch myself holding the keyboard towards my monitor looking for keys.

I can't comment on the switch, but I can tell you that the last console I played was N64 and I have a PS3 now, but I just can't play a game with a controller. A mouse and keyboard is that much better, unless it's like a sports game or something. Go play a major title, especially any FPS, on PC and you'll wonder how you ever managed to play the same game with a controller.

I do. Consoles are garbage. The back end of their life cycle slows the natural evolution of games toward better graphics and more content. The front end of their life cycle drives up game prices. They are inferior to pc in every way.
