It's time to start talking baseball

The only upside to football ending is baseball season will be here soon.
We get the best two hitters back with Raph and Katz. Although Eades had a rough year last year, I still think he has potential to redeem himself and have a great year. I'm also interested to see how Aaron Nola performs for his sophomore season.
From what I've heard we have a solid freshman class and PM has called this team "the most athletic" he has ever had.
I know this thread doesn't have much of a point, but this board needs some baseball talk.

Javi still coaches, their hitting will suck again. if by chance they hit well in the beginning, he will coach them out of those habits by mid season. bank on that.

We have had a baseball thread or two a week for the past month. Good conversations...and yes it's more than time to talk about baseball.

I'd love to talk baseball but I have a feeling this thread will fall to page 2 quicker than you can say "Les Miles" with all the rantards filling this board with pure and utter shite.

Yea, I started a thread yesterday and it dropped to the 2nd page in about 2 minutes. Tried to talk baseball, but people are still in meltdown mode.

We need Adam4848 to get this thread going!

Yes, it looks like the young man will hit, but I am not sold on his glove at SS yet. I hope he improves his game and is a solid defensive SS. Of course, no matter how much he improves he is going to be compared to the great Nola. Many people don't realize how truly great Nola was. Those people will find out in a few weeks.

Nola is going to be very hard to replace. He was a defensive stud
