LSU needs to slide its chair a little closer to the table, man up and grab someone by the throat and demand we get a fair share of what we built. That just takes the man sitting in our seat, to NUT UP. I do believe it is BS that we wound up where we did in the post season, but when it is all said and done the money is the same and we still wind up in the top 5 if we come to play. The CAP 1 and Chick-fillet are two of the best advertised games there are. I don't live in LA and that is all I hear about is the CAP 1 and CF Bowl.

This is it in a nutshell. Our AD is too timid to step up and make the demands that Bama makes. He is content to be in second place. What he says and what he does are two different things. Now on the other hand when we talk about politics- the politics of the Board at LSU may very well be tethering us and the AD to to a non aggressive policy.

In the end I would rather be LSU than any other team-

While the SEC is favoring Bama in scheduling and officiating, LSUs leadership (both President and Athletics Director) are allowing it to happen without care. LSU administration should remind SEC leadership what LSU has brought to the conference and leverage LSUs position within the SEC. Until LSU leadership steps up Bama will continue getting favorable treatment.

Great thought, but none of that is going to happen with the current Director of Athletics presently employed by Louisiana State University. If the guy wasn't doing a pretty good job at getting Tiger Stadium refurbished, he'd be a prime candidate for the ole "Adios Amigo" treatment. He doesn't have the acorns to stand up and fight for L.S.U..

As for L.S.U. joining the Big 12, that's total BS. Wanna stick it to the S.E.C. and succede, then get together with Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma.State and ALL the Texas schools to reform the SOUTHWESTERN CONFERENCE. That could potentially work if the problems with the arrogant University of Texas could be solved.

This. Leaving the SEC is not the answer. Telling Joe Alleva to grow a set is. If he can't, then get an AD that can. LSU has become one of the most consistently successful programs in the country in the last decade plus. We should be expanding our brand, not playing wetnurse to Alabama.
