Is America only country that feels sports teams need new stadiums constantly?

Seems like most international teams, soccer clubs, etc. take pride in the history and mystique of their historic venues. American sports seem to think brand new is the way to go.
Im not saying either way is better. What do you prefer?
Also, couple examples of classic sports venues in US that will likely never be done away with are Lambeau field and Cameron at Duke. (I went to Duke before and there has literally been no renovations at all that I could tell - all seats were the original wooden folding seats. Pretty cool really.

Seems like the ones that have that 'mystique'- Cameron, Lambeau, Allen Fieldhouse, Fenway, etc. do stick around. Ones that are just old get replaced. What are some examples that shouldn't have been replaced?

Not enough luxury boxes for rich people in those old stadiums. They have to sit with the common folk.

Most top tier college football programs haven't built new stadiums just expanded/renovated the old ones.
Move down a notch and you'll find the Baylor's, TCU's, UNT's of the world all with shiny new places.

I know this sounds like a stereotypically poor person's statement, but even if I had a ton of money, I'd prefer to sit with the "common folk" and mingle with the crowd. Nothing beats the roar of a packed stadium, and that just can't be appreciated from a luxury box (yes, I've witnessed games in both manners).

It does have mystique, but not on the level of a Lambeau field or anything, so don't take too much issue with that assertion, por favor
My main point was that it's a venerable old facility that is going to be replaced.

Look, even Yankee Stadium was replaceable. Anfield is ancient and in a bad, bad part of Liverpool. With the direction the club is going, trying to catch up with the Premier League and restore their powerful status in the game, a new stadium might do wonders.

I don't claim to know what the owners ideas are, but I imagine they would keep anfield if we were in the top 4 and playing in the champions league. Right now, they may just be thinking of a reason to attract players. Also, the owners are American.

Soccer teams in Europe are building new stadiums too... also more stadiums get built for other reasons then get passed down to soccer teams. the sheikhs wouldn't have bought Man City if they stayed in their old stadium.
