Stuck in a hotel in Houma tonight. Just me, the tv, and a bottle of OFBB13.

Does anyone know if there is a liquor store worth checking out around Houma?

Any know if the four roses 125th barrel strength can be found? If not retail, what's it going for on BX?

Is it all from same distillery, or do I need to look for certain markers? I know these are rookie questions, but that is how we learn

All the same distillery. Different barrels and batches. Some people say some batches are better than others but I wouldn't get real hung up on that. It's all good

Sammy's Liquor store on Provencal in Katy. He has a pretty good selection.

Johnny Walker "Swing", anybody familiar with this?

Just received a bottle as a gift. I liked it a lot. Good stuff. Would recommend.

I just learned about the Stitzel/Weller last night. I'll post in this thread when I try the David Nicholson 1848 later today.

I had actually got them a month or two back along with everything else (except the dickel) but hadn't picked it up yet.
