Foxtrot Mike support thinks the issue is the mag catch. They are shipping me a replacement.

Do me a favor. Slide back and set bolt catch.

Put mag in and then load by releasing the bolt catch button.

Does it load fine that way?

Out of curiosity I tried this and the round still won't seat in the chamber.

Close. Ended up buying the 16" because N+1, but I'm thinking next check comes through, I'm getting the 10.3 Halo. Get em while they're hot.

Btw, buying experience so far has been incredible. Flawless in the two FFLs being exchanged, and within 20 minutes of hitting submit order, I had USPS tracking info and it was set to deliver by Thursday. Thoroughly impressed so far

Can you seat the round in the bolt face by hand?

Does it fit?

Can you break open the gun and drop a round into the chamber by hand and see if it fits?

BCG or Upper/lower may be out of spec.

I have an issue with a Spikes Tactical lower being out of spec. Had to order an offset buffer retainer to make it work right. Different issue than yours though.

Damn

I'm at a loss.

Can you fit the round in easily in the bolt face with it out of the gun or is it a struggle?

You pull the o ring out of the extractor and try it again?

Got the mag catch in today. If I use the bolt catch to release the bolt, a round will seat correctly. If I try charging with the charging handle, the bolt won't budge. It is extremely tight. Maybe I need shoot it like this and let it break in.

Sounds like it would probably help. If I were you, I would run down to your local gunshop (anywhere that people tend to hang out) and see if the dude that owns the place can put eyes on it and can help point you in the right direction. Some of those guys have seen everything and it may be something simple that we cannot see.

If it's that tight you might pop and extractor. Maybe pick up a spare.

Mine wouldn't feed like that unless I used the bolt catch release.

Sent back the old bolt for a new one.

Works awesome.

I sent them pics of the extractor roll pin. It's scarred up and worn on one side. Waiting to hear back from them.

Fox Trot Mike is sending a new extractor kit. I have asked them if I can send it to them for troubleshooting if that doesn't work.
We shall see.

Thought I better ask for tips or tricks on replacing the extractor. How do you get the roll pin out? Easiest way?
I tend to have a short fuse and take a hammer or drill to things after throwing them across the room.

Pon should come out easy.

I've used the firing pin before to push it out to where I can grab it.

Press firmly on the area right above the spring to compress the oring and spring in there to unload the tension on the pin.

Roll pin won't budge even while compressing the extractor. I'm sending it back to FoxTrot Mike's. Failure to feed seems to be a common problem with this model.

New bolt came in today. It has a lip on the bottom edge to help feed. Function tested and it seems to be working with my factory Glock mags.

Need to shoot it this weekend.
