who knows. I think he'll get a fair shot at a roster one way or another. He will be an UDFA no doubt. The Packers did it with Sam Shields who played WR most of his time at Miami.

Semi thread hijack but I think Tharold will be a safety in the league.

I was always impressed with the way RS tackled on special teams. He wasn't an arm tackler that is for sure.

Playing GM right now:

Give him a shot at playing special teams and potentially a chance at playing the slot receiver position in the league. For some reason i see Shep as a poor mans Davone Bess.

I could see being a CB. He's short, but there's plenty of small, successful CBs in the NFL. Not everyone has to be built like PP21.

Bess is a poor man's Bess who catches everything.

Shep runs off tackle well.

I'm predicting a breakout game for RS in the chicken bowl.

He is pretty solid with the ball in his hands so I see why they kept him on offense

Then again, I'd have to think using that logic, that Patrick Peterson should have never played a snap on defense.

not hard nosed enough to play safety. Maybe could have been a CB though we'll never know. Trying to make a WR out of him was like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Was purple and gold through and through and wish him the best.
