They're becoming so desperate it's only a matter of time before it's breaking news daily until he retires or dies.
Don't kid yourself. Alabama is not his final job no matter what his wife says in public. Heck you cannot even believe him. He has too many ties to the NFL and it offers the one thing Bama cannot the ability to correct the one thing that he failed at.
It might not be this year or next but at some point he will leave for the NFL again.

Saban hates to lose. With the current Browns roster, he would lose more than half his games for the first two years.
Cant see him putting up with that for two years. Especially at his age.

I disagree with this. It's either this year or next. Maybe maybe maybe 2 years. After that he'll be 64 and at that point I think the window is closed.

He's not leaving because he's not good enough to coach in the NFL and he knows it.

I don't know if Saban will go to the Browns, but I just can't see him not trying to NFL one more time, especially with his ego.

Cleveland is 5-8 now and had 3 or so other games within their grasp but failed to close them out in the 4th quarter.
They are closer than you think, especially with the defense they have and TR carrying the football. If they grab a WR1 through the draft or FA, they could be fighting for playoff contention in 2013.

False. The games they lost they lost by an average of 7 points. Their worst game they lost by 14. They have the foundation there for a playoff team right now.

Probably not in a division with the Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals.

Fighting. They'll be in playoff contention.

Which is why Cleveland is not going to make wholesale changes in the staff and management.

Saban does not think like that. He thinks he's the best coach in the world, and it probably eats him up that he failed at the NFL when others he knows he's better than have succeeded.
There are plenty of successful NFL coaches that flopped at their first jobs, most notably the guy Saban learned from, Bill Belichick.
