Who are we pretty sure would be willing to play in it? I'd guess MOST (maybe not all) of the following would be willing:
Curtis
Evangel
West Monroe
Rummel
Dutchtown
Neville
Karr
East St. John
Hahnville
Rummel
Jesuit
Catholic
Barbe
Acadiana
St. Paul
St. Aug
Salmen
Holy Cross
Parkview

I've always wanted one of these. I made one for basketballs while back. Your list is solid for football

Good list. But I don't see PBS playing in it.

Curtis would only move up to the second highest division

Because Parkview doesn't play 5A schools every year or anything.

Would not play in it unless it was STRICTLY for football.

glad you read so well.

Curtis has always said they didn't want to move up bc it would affect other sports. But if you can field a football team with 100 kids, you'd think you could field baseball, softball, Bball etc.

It would be funny if they still didn't play up since that is the excuse they always used to not go to the highest classification. What's weird is they could win state the majority of the time regardless of classification. Then again, JT wouldn't have 500+ wins. Would their be districts or just play whoever you want until the playoffs? Would there be enough teams for districts? I would think some of the teams listed would have a problem with depth if they had to play physical games week in and week out. In a one game scenario, some of the smaller schools would be able to beat anyone. If they had to play 15 grueling games though would the results be the same? I'd love to see it.

Could make two, ten team districts play round robin. then top 4 from each make the playoffs...

Travel costs would be fairly high, no?
How would this break down geographically?

In regular season games, sure.
But competing for state championships? They won't do it. They could easy have an enrollment of 1000+ kids. But they stay around 600 to ensure they remain 3A. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I would think Carencro would move up as well.
Sulphur too.
Sulphur too.

I'd prefer to bump state champions. If you win 1A, you are bumped to 2A. Win the next year, bumped to 3A and so on. You have to go 3 years without a title before you can be bumped back down 1 class at a time. It wouldn't take long before you had a strong "Super Class" and you would guarantee a new champion in classes 1-4 every year.

I'm not too sure about that.

Curtis is gonna be in a district next year with Brusly, Donaldsonville, Port Allen, St. Charles Catholic and E.D. White... LHSAA obviously doesn't care anyway

That enrollment thing definitely isn't true. Parkview's campus is extremely landlocked. They have no where to expand to fit more students.
