All the coots i see out here can fly. Where they get this flightless bs? Only livers and gizzards are worth eating though.

They tend to have short, rounded wings and are weak fliers, though northern species nevertheless can cover long distances—the American Coot has reached Britain and Ireland on rare occasions.

It was appropriate during the dinardo/hallman project.

But that moniker is obsolete since we've won a game or two since then.

Clemsux

Clempsun

Cluck Femson

CLLLLemson (the 4 "L's" representing the 4 years in a row that they have loss to us)

Picture a half-witted (apparent) farmer with a piece of straw hanging out of his mouth, with his idiot son next to him. The father is "Clem". The other is "Clem's Son".

Clemson. they act like they're so important and have all this tradition and pull in college football.

The sad thing is, in reality they act like they are Notre Dame, just with no titles, media, and cash.

Because Riggs had come from Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama (later renamed Auburn), he borrowed ideas from their team colors, orange and purple, and their mascot, the Tiger.

This sums it up.

A coot is a small flightless bird. A tater is a potato. It comes from Clemson being an agriculture school, and a play on the IPTAY foundation. Which stands for I Pay Ten a Year or some shite like that I can't remember. Well SC fans changed it to "I Plant Taters All year". I'm going off memory here but I'm pretty sure this is where it derived from. I have no earthly idea where Clemson got coots from. Seems like "cocks" would give them enough ammo, but hey. Clemson.

I have always heard

Coot - what a male farmer calls his roosters, yes we were founded as a farming school

Tater - IPTAYer, IPTAY is our booster club

Why did the SC fans follow us over here? We didn't follow them to the Michigan forums. Don't they have better things to do like work?
