Most of Alabama's fans expect them to win the title every year. That's the arrogant attitude they have.

Now look at their results over the past 4 years.

I wonder if Bama's fans actually UNDERSTAND that any fan's, or an entire fan base's, wishes and desires, and wants and satisfactions have nothing to do with the product on the field.

Flaming imbeciles on this forum think that because most of our fans are proud of their team, but still disappointed, that TD.com suddenly up and willed a 10-2 season.

It's fricking idiocy. I am tired of flaming rantards telling ANYONE that they are wrong to be proud of their team and coaches.

IDGAF what you think about this season.
In fact, the only person I want to hear answer the OP's question are the players and coaches.

Their answers will tell us the real state of the program.

Otherwise, just STFU.

I would. 7 years of Miles = 7 years of Bama victories.

Bull fricking shite. That's why they fired one of their own fricking alumni less than a year after a 10-2, top-ten, Cotton Bowl-winning season. They don't settle for 10 wins and a second-tier bowl. It's championships or get the frick out. That's why they win them.

And why we don't.

We had a good season considering all that happened. The reason Bama has been in this position the last few years has been scheduling. They only had two difficult opponents this season to reach the SEC championship and one team beat them and the other should have. LSU has a great deal to look forward to next year. We will have more experience and with people coming back should be poised for another title run. Let's enjoy the bowl game and look forward to signing day!

Yes! That is the purpose for Internet message boards. For the players and coaches to voice their opinions, and the fans fans to shut up and like it! WE WANT JUSTICE

That 1992-2008 was such a great era of championship bama football

I don't disagree with you. My problem is with those that continuously say that lsu is the best team in the nation and always has the best talent. You follow recruiting, egg, I know you don't think this way.

talent is measured in your ability to replace starters with quality depth.

LSU is right up there with the Bama's of the world in that respect.

Its true that Lsu has depth. But lsu was hit with an almost insurmountable amount of irregular attrition and injuries this season.

fricking delusional. Shula went 6-7 the following year and Bama lost the fricking Independence Bowl. His record was like 26-22.

What a dumbass comparison.

Keep wishing the fanbase message boards can get a coach fired. I know that's what you hope for.

No way. I'm predicting AT LEAST 2 losses, and as we saw this year, that's not getting you in the NCG. We have Florida, Georgia, Bama, and aTm.

Yep. They went through some bad times, and they fired the coaches responsible until they got the right one. Now, they've won 3 national championships in 4 years. When we EVER do that, you'll have an argument, but to this point, our stupidly patient approach with coaches has not worked as well as their less tolerant one. Their approach has won as many national titles in the last four years as our take-whatever-we-get mentality has managed in our entire history.

In all likelihood, we'll have the best team in the country again in 2013, just like we have for the last two years. Until we have something to show for it, that means about as much as a pair of tits on a drag queen.

We should go undefeated and win the NC next year, which is to say we'll be in the Peach Bowl again.

We could win the "Peach Bowl" and stay at #9

why do ppl act like we can't overcome a tough schedule? last yr we had to beat Oregon, WVU, Bama, Arky and UGA just to get to 13-0. say what you will about playing down to competition at times, but under Les we rarely don't play well in big games (even if we lose some). and I know about 1/9, but that looks like the aberration.

again, just wish we had better playcalling. I think the offense next yr could be really special if we did.

By what measure was lsu the best team the last two years? Just because you say it doesn't mean it and by no objective measure you can prove that lsu had the best team in the country the last two years.

When excuses are deemed a satisfactory substitute for championships, excuses are all you'll get. They're easier.

Many Miles worshipers are quick with the excuses. They stand on the 10/2 record. Those of us who are disappointed are so because of the quality of play caused by bad coaching. With our talent and depth, had we had the kind of coaching we are paying for, we would be playing N.D. Instead, we are playing in the Chicken Bowl. What will the next seven years be like?

Another one that thinks lsu is better than everyone else with absolutely no objective proof.

Could not agree more. We aren't the only team with injury problems. Our offensive line actually was better with the young guys. We lost the Bama game because of 5 different coaching decisions of which anyone of the 5 if not made could have resulted in a win. We should have been playing Georgia. Season is an overall let down. I feel like being happy with 10-2 in this season is settling. I don't think we should ever settle. I'll let other fans of other schools settle for less.

Just do whatever it takes to win the fricking game when you are clearly the better team

So, which games has LSU lost in the past 2 years when they were "clearly" the better team?

I had very high expectations for this year too, but I'm not irrational. You aren't going to win all of your games all the time in this conference. Not even almighty Bama with Saban has done that. In fact, LSU has the exact same record as Alabama in the SEC over the past 2 years...14-2. I agree that we shouldn't settle for mediocrity, but we aren't far away from winning a title.
