That's not what he said. He said they would be alive if he didn't have a gun which is probably a true statement. Yes, one can kill with a knife, or some other object if they're hell-bent on doing so, but it's much harder to do, especially if people are around. I'm not saying guns should be illegal but to pretend they aren't more lethal, and by quicker means, especially in the wrong hands, is simply ignoring the truth. That's not liberal or conservative.
