The good thing about G Tech is it's right downtown, so you can still find places close to campus with hot chicks partying.

I will say that since I came into GT in 2007 and now, the girl population has gotten incredibly better. With that said, i dated a UGA girl for 2 years during college and am dating an Ole MIss one now so clearly I branched out.

The issue is more getting those kids into GT and keeping them when they are required to take classes like calculus their first semester

Tech definitely scores a ton of points.

This year GT finished 32nd in total offense per game, 4th in rushing yards per game, and 35th in points per game. It's not like they would do much better with another coach because they're never going to get the guys on the lines like LSU and Alabama.

Why is it that GT holds on to terrible QBs and let them start for more than 1 terrible year? Washington was the second coming of Reggie Ball.

Washington is terrible.

What are Days' cons? There's no way he can be as bad as Washington.

Look, I've seen this offense work. I just don't understand Johnson's infatuation with Washington. It's rivaling Miles' commitment to Jordan Jefferson.

Well, it's not like QBs who can throw are just flocking to GT

True.

But from what I saw in Days and Vad Lee's recruiting highlights and looking at their stats, both of them are at least somewhat capable.

Washington, not capable at all.

Did Washington have any other D1 offers besides GT?

No, he had no other D1 offers at qb. Small schools offered him but that's it. He was a late pick up in CPJ's first class. I saw Days play in high school and he thrived in an option based offense. He just can't hang onto the ball. Lee and Justin Thomas will be the qb next year, it'll be interesting to see who gets it.

Right. Our CFB-Reference page has us at #24 for offense and #86 for defense, so the reason we are 6-7 isn't Tevin Washington's passing, Paul Johnson's playcalling, or our triple option offense. The problem has been our defense and PJ took a step in the right direction by firing Groh mid-season.

I had a friend who for some reason went to GT and wanted to major in Psychology. Everyone has to take the core Calc classes, regardless of major.

Any chance they'll get rid of that requirement?

Nope.

Plus all the physics classes here are calculus based. No Conceptual Phys or any of that stuff here.

Plus our Calc 1 covers what most places do in Calc 1 and 2 (both differentiation and integration)
